The staff were super friendly and helpful despite the fact that they didn’t really speak English. They tried their best to accommodate and provide us with the best service e expected.

Situated in Mengibar, 26 km from Jaén Train Station, HOTEL PALACIO DE MENGIBAR features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Fran! the manager was amazing! patient, helpful and cheerful, he is a huge attribute to the hotel and excellent in customer service. The room he gave me was beautiful, peaceful, large and I slept very well. I had room service, the food was quite good. The property itself is lovely and heritage; I am sure the history is very interesting. I was not expecting that quality to the price ratio. The value was amazing.

Set in a stone, country-style house, Hotel Rural la Calerilla offers a seasonal outdoor pool surrounded by hammocks and sun loungers. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The only negative is that we didn’t stay long enough! Everything about this place was perfection, from the hotel, views, room, staff, even the food we ate for dinner and breakfast was perfect. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and relax, this is it. Note: you’ll need a car to travel anywhere from the hotel but the stay is worth it.

Nueve Leyendas interestingly takes its inspiration from 9 local legends. This charming 18th-century building offers elegant rooms with a TV and private bathroom. The location was unbeatable and the boutique hotel room was lovely. Incredibly comfortable beds and even a jacuzzi in the bathroom! Very friendly staff and good value breakfast. Staff were very accommodating.

Hotel Carmen Boutique is a four stars acommodation that blends a historical 19th-century building with contemporary minimalist design. The hotel was very comfortable, with a king-size bed and huge 55 in TV. All the staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. The pool was extremely welcome after wandering the streets in the summer heat. Breakfast was delightful. Highly recommend staying here.
