Great location, plenty of parking 100% clean and really great staff,, the food is fantastic! And well priced! Free WiFi that actually works! Rooms are really nice and really good size. Definitely amazing value for money! Front area of the pub is really nice with dining area and rear of pub is the public bar, which I must say the locals make you feel at home and are so helpful if it’s you first time on the island. (Great community spirit) Supermarket behind, chinnese and Indian food within 2mins walk, but you won’t need it! Just get the ribs in the restaurant and your be full!!

Everything at The Captains was first class a warm friendly welcome spacious very comfortable room with walk in shower and a great breakfast with everything from fresh fruit bowl muesli yoghurts fresh juices followed by a grand selection of cooked breakfasts including full English and even scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. I loved the location within easy walking distance to the beaches and if needed a bus stop just outside the door to whisk you off to the delights of the capitol or back to the airport.I had a lovely time here it was exceptionally good value and I can heartily recommend The Captains for anybody looking for some good old fashioned friendly hospitality . Thank you Phil and all your lovely staff.

He was mindful that I have an allergy to gluten and provided food that was gluten free .... He even offered to go to the local supermarket to get gluten free bread ! The room was comfortable with tea making facilities a microwave and fridge ..... The guesthouse was quiet with no traffic noise ... There was no en suite toilet and shower but at this price point I didn't expect one !!!

Breakfast was hot, booked my time for breakfast and it was there soon as I sat down, The host was very very friendly and welcoming, so much knowledge about Guernsey , where to go and all about when the guest house was built. Colin is a friendly and welcoming host, he provided all the necessary information about the island and is readily available to help and assist with anything you need. The room was clean, comfy and was equipped with a mini refrigerator and microwave. I will surely be back someday soon.
