The Manor House Inn

Shotley Bridge

At the inn, all rooms include a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. The Manor House Inn provides some units with garden views, and all rooms are fitted with a kettle. At the accommodation each room is fitted with a seating area. A family run business who make you feel warm and welcome from the time you book until you leave. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the local area. I feel I have to mention the very high standard of food. Its not the run of the mill bar food here. Its food fitting of a Manor house. I only wish we had stayed longer to try everything on the menu. All very reasonably priced as well. Real ale behind the bar and an open log fire. Large selection of drinks and food all day and the breakfast was spot on. Whether you are looking for a place to stay or after a meal with a proper local feel then you won't be let down if you give the Manor House a try. Well worth a visit.
